ANSWERS
1. Aneta: Double personality. The negative/ dark side appears to be winning. Conflict. Wishing to be protected?
2. Mihai: Happiness? The antithesis between good and bad
3. Mihaela: Affection, friendliness. description: making a deal with someone, or when two people finally get to see each other after quarantine. If the picture would have been painted in darker tones, it would have looked like violence to me, like when two people get in a fight
4. Miruna: The act of deceiving. Something that can be hidden. Not something ugly, but something people shouldn't be allowed to see. Stopping someone from getting close to a beautiful thing/ something that would help them in their life. The hands (yellow) are trying to hide the rest of the colours/ emotions.
5. Madeleine: The light, basic primary colours make me feel airy and light. There is something calming about it despite perhaps appearing to be a depiction of some kind of struggle.
6. Andrada: A need for protection. The person is trying to protect themselves from something or someone. Even though light/ pastel colours are used, they can't hide the fear the person is feeling. For me, the use of blue makes me think of fear.

BEHIND THE PAINTING
The painting depicts Doctor Strange's character during his standalone film. Doctor Strange controls all his power using his hands, therefore I made them the main element of this painting. The yellow was supposed to signify caution. The blue faces show the struggle he goes through throughout the film, as he deals with different timelines and events. I used blue to showcase his tendency to think before he acts, the most important challenges he faces happen inside his mind. The red signifies his incredible power, mostly undiscovered in the first film. The green shows that Strange's personality is being split into millions of directions as he experiences timeline after timeline. The soft purple suggests the connection to the mystical and the fact that the character is being transformed.
