ANSWERS

1. Aneta: An innocent person that knows no evil. A pure soul. Blindfolded because he is waiting for something to happen. Maybe a surprise? He can't take the blindfold off someone else has to do it for him. He's unable to act

2. Mihai: Loss of identity

3. Mihaela: Speed, dizziness, confusion, instability. description: a superhero moving super fast like flash; a kid having troubles staying focused. If the picture was made using red, I would have perceived it as a romance scene

4. Miruna: Complacency. Overly confident, not aware that danger is coming. A person who seems happy because they have been protected from seeing the hurtful stuff until now. What you don't see, can't hurt you. They have been protected so far, but they aren't anymore

5. Madeleine: Here I feel and see tranquillity. There is a feeling of inner reflection within the image, but it’s aided by the cool tones to truly feel relaxed and calm.

6. Andrada: Sadness. I think the painting is showing someone who is trying to hide their emotions or trying to hide their true self. The eyes being covered highlight the fact that he can't be truly honest. (as in, everyone can see your true feelings in your eyes, so he is covering them to avoid showing his true emotions.) Again, the use of blue makes me think of sadness.

BEHIND THE PAINTING

The explanation for this painting is easy. Bruce Banner is a cerebral character, the blue signifies his tendency to think before he acts and highlights the fact that the struggle mostly happens inside his head. I used steel blue as it is often associated with intellect. At the same time, the green taking over all of the painting signifies Hulk's stronger Persona. He is the one who has most of the power in this relationship. I used the purple keeping in mind what I learned in my research. Purple signifies that something is going to die or that something is going to change drastically. Outlining the drawing with a soft purple wants to suggest the extreme difference between Bruce's personality and Hulk's. However, the different shades of green are there to suggest the idea that Hulk is both a dangerous being and what keeps Bruce safe whenever danger appears.
