 (FAR FROM HOME VERSION)

ANSWERS:

1. Aneta: Not being able to express himself. Manipulation.  Choosing not to see something. He could move the hands away but doesn't want to. He's not unable to see, chooses not to see

2. Mihai: Censorship. Lack of control. Higher power taking control by force

3.  Mihaela: Innocence, holiness. Description: a kid dressed as Spider-Man for Halloween whose eyes are covered by an adult so as he will not see how someone got dressed in a perverted way (slutty nurse, for example). If the picture would have been painted in darker tones such as black, grey etc.. I would have perceived it as a child being protected from domestic violence.

4.  Miruna: Oppression. When you aren't allowed to know the truth, when someone is hiding the truth from you. Manipulation. Forcing certain views on someone starting from childhood.

5.  Madeleine: The bold teal reminds me of a cold and empty sensation. The image itself feels like a conflict due to the eyes being blocked. Overall it feels like am witnessing an obstacle, whether inner or outer.

6.  Andrada: Obliviousness, fear of the unknown. Something is being hidden from this person, they aren't allowed to see the truth. Or maybe they are being protected, the other person thinks if they find out they will be hurt. The main colour, for me, is green - makes me think of danger, but also protection.

BEHIND THE PAINTING

Not abstract drawings for this one, here we can see clear characters. The relationship between Spider-Man and Mysterio is clearly depicted and highlighted through the chosen colours. Purple here suggests delusion, the presence of strong magic. Mysterio has the power to reshape how we see reality so I used purple as an omen - to suggest that what we see is not what it appears to be. The green hands covering most of the painting convey the danger, the existence of a poisoned character.
